School Excursions

Our school excursions are an amazing way to treat your dog to a special day out.

Our sea change excursions are held in the autumn, spring and summer and our country escapes are held in winter.

Sea Change

It’s time for a sea-change!
Join us for a huge day down the coast with the HHPG gang.

Your sea change destination will vary from Breamlea, Angelsea and Aireys Inlet.

We will collect your pooch from your home (or they can be dropped to HHPG before 8.00am), drive down to the coast and have a wonderful day out on the sand and in the sun.

FYI – this is a mums and dads and family free day (your dogs and us ….only!)

What’s Included

3-5 HHPG carers (depending on excursion) will be supervising your pooches at all times

Games and treats

Photo’s will be posted through out the event on social media

Lunch – dry food and 4 Legs will be provided (special diets can be be sent along by paw-rents)

Play time in doggy / puppy day care before and after the retreat

Example of our Sea Change Itinerary
– 6.00am – 8.45am – Pick ups by Henri

– 8.00am – 9.00am – Photo time and jump in the bus

– 9.00am – depart HHPG

– 9.00am – drive to Aireys Inlet

– 10.30am – arrive at Aireys Inlet

– 10.45am – 15 minutes for play lunch (little snack)

– 11.45am – 1.00pm – Play in the sand and surf

– 1.15pm – Lunch

– 1.30pm – 2.45pm – Games

– 3.00pm – Depart beach

– 4.15pm – 5.00pm – Drive back to HH or be delivered home

Example of our Winter Escape Itinerary

– 6.00am – 8.45am – Pick ups by Henri

– 8.00am – 9.30am – Play time with your friends in doggy day care

– 9.30am – 10.15am Photo time and jump in the bus

– 10.15am – depart HHPG (we will have avoided most of the Melbourne traffic)

– 11.00am – Arrive at our winter excursion location

– 11.15am – 15 minutes for play lunch (little snack)

– 11.30am – 1.00pm – Explore the winter trails and smells

– 1.15pm – Lunch

– 1.30pm – 2.30pm – Games and more ecxploring

– 2.45pm – Depart beach

– 4.45pm – back to HH

– 5.00pm-7.00pm – Hang out at day care / be delivered home in Henri

Conditions
Apologies for all of the conditions but to ensure we have a wonderful day please read the following.
** Only dogs who have been on HHPG group walks or come to HHPG for day care and have reliable recall are permitted
** Only social dogs are permitted on this adventure
** This service is open for current clients ONLY

Other Conditions
** Pick up and delivery to HHPG serviced areas only
** Times are estimates only
** Passes and vouchers can not be used for this specialised service
** HHPG reserves the right to cancel should the weather not permit a fun day in the sun
** HHPG reserves the right to change beaches/locations should unforeseen circumstance occur
** HHPG reserves the right to change departure and return times due to poor weather or unforeseen traffic. We may be late or even a little early!
** Full payment must be received no later than one week prior to excursion date
** Pick up and delivery will incur normal valet charges
** Minimum numbers required before event is official

Winter Escape

Join us for mini excursion where the city meets the country, with the HHPG gang.

Your winter escape destination will vary from Darebin Parklands, Altona Coastal Dog Park and Beach, Yarra Bend Park and Bulleen Parklands.

We will collect your pooch from your home (or they can be dropped to HHPG between 8.30am – 9.00am), drive where the city meets the bush and have a wonderful day out exploring.

– 9.00am – 10.00am – Photo time and jump on Henri
– 10.00am – Depart HHPG
– 11.00am – Arrive at City/Bush
– 11.15am – Recalls and games with play lunch (little snack)
– 11.30am – 12.30pm – Bush exploring
– 12.30pm – 12.50 – Lunch
– 12.50pm- 1.30pm – Explore the bush on the journey back to Henri
– 2.00pm – Depart City/Bush
– 3.00pm – Arrive back at HH or be delivered home
