At Hairy Hounds Playground, we believe in extending our care far beyond the dogs who come through our gates. Our team is driven by a deep commitment to animals and the people who care for them—whether they’re around the corner in Melbourne or across the seas in Bali, Sumatra, or Thailand.
💙 Proud Supporters of Mate’s Gift We’re incredibly proud to be a major supporter of Mate’s Gift, a grassroots Australian charity committed to improving animal welfare and supporting communities across South East Asia. Mate’s Gift funds hands-on work including desexing programs, veterinary care, shelter upgrades, community outreach, and education programs across Bali, Sumatra, Thailand and beyond. Several of our HHPG carers are also part of the Mate’s Gift team, with some serving as board members, and others travelling to assist with fieldwork and project delivery. We help raise funds, gather supplies, spread awareness, and provide practical, boots-on-the-ground support—because we believe in real, lasting change.
